So why do this? Why not just write on Threads or Twitter or Facebook or even Blogger? The Internet has lost it's identity, in my view it has lost it's heart. While yes, good accessibility is important, it also has made all social media really centralized. That's why I created this blog, to have an innocent and simple place that is truly mine. Also writing in HTML is much more interesting. Learning how to write and customise my own page is so much more rewarding than picking a profile picture on Instagram. As said, the site is still in its baby steps, i am using Zonelets, they provide a very good HTML template for creating the first blog. I also started to customise the provided themes, adding my own picture and changing colours. Already those small things feel much more personal than any page on other social media platforms.
